Hi georgn, thanks for your response. I think I have managed to answer my own question - I had used a script (found on this forum) to avoid the UAC propmt appearing on start up and this script looks like it messed up the OSK. I have commented on the relevant post to advise others of this issue. Thanks for the signpost to Hot Virtual Keyboard - it looks like it might be very useful even if the OSK works. I have also found a way of starting eviacam avoiding the UAC prompt appearing using Task Scheduler,...
That batch file works to open EViacam, but EViacam stops working correctly if you open the on-screen keyboard.
Hi Anyone experienced issues with MS OSK? EViacam will no longer work when the OSK is open. It works and then appears to stop Dwell click working. I also noticed that the alternative suggested - Click-n-type is no longer supported as the developer has had to stop working on it. They cited multiple issues with Windows updates. Anyone any information/insights on this? Many thanks
Hi Has anyone managed to resolve this? I cannot get eviacam to run in a non admin account without the UAC pop up coming up and asking for an admin password. I have tried changing the properties on the .exe file to "Always run as administrater" but I still get the password pop up. Not being able to run as a non admin users is preventing us deploying eViacam on our loan computers that we use in rehab centres and high dependency units for people who need it after becoming paralysed.
I would support this development. I work with people paralysed by a spinal cord injury...
