Hi Andras, shortly after I posted my lamento above, I found out that the following procedures helps to at least read old mm files, if not even edit them without trouble. - open your mm file - select all nodes (cmd-a) - in the top command bar select the font Monaco and font size 10 - left to this select zoom factor 150% This does not rectify fonts in the dialog boxes (e.g. the preference dialog) but it renders old Freemind files readable. Let me know if this works for your device too.

Same problem here. After lots of research, I had (barely) found a workaround for keeping Freemind and it's files when I switched from High Sierra to Catalina, it relied on switching to Monaco as default font, and a few more tweeks. But under Monterey - which includes Monaco as a system font - that does not work anymore. No idea what to do.

'larger font' command bug

I am using FP v1.9.4, on Mac it appears that the command to increase the font size of the current node (under format > node core) does not work, when invoked with a keyboard command it doesn't work with the default key assignment (meta +), or any custom key assignment, which proves it is not just a conflict with another (systemwide) keyboard shortcut.

Unfortunately a search for line wrap (or similar) returns endless posts. So it is hard to ensure, that this subject hasn't been treated before. Could anybody tell me how to disable the automatic line wrap (line feed inside a simple text node) always added after some 40-50 chars ? If this cannot be turned off, has a related feature request already been posted ? Thank you in advance !

Hi there, I reported earlier that versions later than 1.8.11 are rejected on Mojave. This doesn't seem to be a real compatibility issue, but a choice made by the developer. Is there a chance to change this ?
