Ah, thanks a million! Reading the (complete) paragraph again, it ends with "the 'Open URL' dialog will not be displayed then", would hint this is the one to use. I searched a couple of times and have seen this option, but I always thought this would point to the 'OS system username' somehow, which is different, so I stopped reading the paragraph... My fault, a RTFM (completely) in this case.
When opening a Keepass database from the-command line which is located at an url KeePass.exe https://nextcloud..../passwords.kdbx a dialog appears to remember the User name and Password to authenticate to the server or not. When selecting 'remember' (both), this is not remembered when opening the file again from the command-line, but only when you already have opened Keepass and select it from the recent used database list.
