Hello Robert, I built a new rotator with a Hal-sensor on a loose cable, so I can test better with the magnet. I've noticed that if I don't enable "Homesensor" everything works fine. If I then set the home sensor enable, homing runs once!!! But the "value" remains true even if the magnet is gone or I move to a new angle. (then homeing only takes one step). Only when I unplug the sensor does the value go to false, when I then reconnect it, the value remains false and I can make a new home run, then...

Hi Robert, i uninstall the app, install the 2_4_0_7. Connect to the Rotator, App shows 0° Angle, move to 45° and then press Home: The Stepper moves about 5° then stops, sorry. Greets Andreas

Hi Robert, sure, but sorry, it is the same. after connect the Angle was 0 in the APP (the Rotator was real about ca. 60°), i Move to 45 and after reache the 45° i press Home, the angle in the app jumps to 0, the Stepper makes one step. i am so sorry. Gretts Andreas

Hi Robert, The new Version Home works, but only one Time. After update to the 2024.09 i move to 90° and then press Home, the Rotator went Home. Then i go to 270° with move and press Home again, only 1 Step on the Motor. Press hold and set new Angle 45 and move, OK, press Home, only one Step on the Motor, Power off and on the Arduino amd reconnect the App, can Move to an Angle, but after press Home the Motor goes to the Zero Angle value in the App, but it was not the home Position. Hi Robert, hat some trouble to copy the whole Serial-Output, its a Bug in IDE 2.3.2, so i use for the Serial Monitor the old 1.8 IDE. So, hier the Output, all the Commands works and the Rotator stops at home! Thanks for Help!

Hi Robert, thanks for your reply. i am not at home, so some infos i remember: I test different angles, over the "Move" button it works, without "sensor enable" the "Home" Button works aslo. After "Sensor enable" Move" works to any angle but after press "Home" the Stepper make one Tick and after some time the Arduino disconnect and restart self. The App is the Windows App. With Ascom (over Nina) the Rotator goes to fullstep,( i use 1/8 step in the Windows App), so i dont test more over Ascom. i use...

Hello Robert, I'm not sure if I made a mistake. I built the rotator according to schema 1.03 with DRV8825 and Firmware 2024-07 on astripboard. With the Windows App I can operate the rotator, move to an angle and home works. But if I set the "enable home senor", I can only do move, when I click home nothing happens, the motor don´t, the angle also. If I then approach the home sensor with a magnet, the angle jumps to zero and I can move again, the "find home on connect" doesn't do also anything. What...

Hi Robert, i am sorry, not Sure. After a while, i have a look at the Graph Tab, there where no Data, so i press the Update Button. Data came in, but no auto update, so i look at the refresh Value, set it to 10 Sec, switch back to Graph Tab and wait, get one new data and then the Error. The manually update works on the first time, second get the Error. Automatic works also one time, second bring the error. Hope i remember right, i can test it today again. Hi Robert, i am sorry, it was my fault! The M0, M1, M2 on the DRV8825 came on wrong signals, (eg. on Half-Step the M2 was High). After two Clean Set (Arduino and PC) the Signals are OK. Now i can Test the new Stepper. Sorry for my fault. Greets Andreas

Hi Robert, sure, but on my new Focuser is the "true" RPM on the Stepper on Half and 1/8 Step-Mode about 10 times slower then on Full, 1/4 and 1/16 Step-Mode. I will check the M0,M1,M2 an try to messure the pulssize and timig. Greets Andreas

Hi Robert, the Steeldrive ist prepared for Motorfocus (Baader Steeldrive) on the fine knob, i will check the single knob. i use one Cable (8 pol) for the Stepper and the homeswitch, may there is some noise on the wire for the switch, will check this. Thanks for help Greets Andreas

Hello Robert, i have two Baader Steeltrack, one on a 10" f10 Meade ACF (2540mm) and one on a 10" f5 Newon (1254mm). The Steeltrack´s move 19mm on one turn of the single knob and 1,6mm on one turn of the fine knob. The Beltdrive is on the fine knob (36 teeth) the Stepper (200 steps) has a 12 teeth pulley, and the driver is on 1/4 step. The Rotary encoder is on single-step Mode (one Beep) and is on near Focus, only 5 - 10 steps in and out, but a "quick" direction change, then get the position to 0...

Hi Robert, i found out a Fix for me. Set the Focuser manualy close to home, set the Position to max. (eg. 42000) and then press home. when the switch hits, the move stop and then Postion get 0. Problem solvd! have you hear some problems with a rotary encoder? if i move a lot in and out quick with the Rotary-Encoder, some times i get a massage at the OLED (HP=open and some more, only for a few millisec. and then postion gets to 0 Looks like a home touch, but the focuser is in the middel Pos. (my Stepper has 200 steps, Driver is on 1/4, have a 1:3 Gear, and ist connect to the Focuser on the 1:10 Knob and the Focuser move 0.16cm at one fullturn on the 1:10 Knop) Is my 0.067 right? Hello Robert, i have a question: on my OLED i have 3 Screens that toggle, 1. Position, Target, Coil Pwr to Max Steps. 2. TComp Steps, TComp State to Backlash Ou#. 3. Serial Mode. What is the 3. Hi Robert, my Neo-6m GPS-Modul has a LED onboard, i think the LED will flash if the Modul receive Data. I can put the LED outside of the Case, so i can see it. Maybe it´s the easiest way to see the status of the Modul. My Travel-Case is ready now (have some new pic´s posted), now i can build the Stepper on the Focuser and make the Dew-Stripes. Hi Robert, thanks! it was too much pieces that i need for the teleskope in my backyard. 2x 12V Powersupply (Mount, CCD) 1x 19V Laptop, a Laptop 1x 7,4V EOS-Camera 2x 5V USB Hub and all USB Devices. Long USB-Cable, USB Hub, 230V Plug´s, many Cable´s on the ground, stumble at night. And if i was not im my backyard, i need more Cable´s and Adapter for 12 Volt. So, now it´s all in the Case, 12V (7.4V EOS) Plug´s with protection, a i5 PC with 8GB RAM and Wifi and all the USB Devices. (Focuser, Dew-Controller,...

Hi Robert, I'm not sure if I'm testing it right. The GPS-Receiver behaves differently. According to whether the receiver is cold (no date time, etc.) or has already received data. (Date Time, or even GPS-Data). The Display changes to white for 2 seconds every 10 seconds, or is black and has no coordinates, only date and time. I think I have to test it differently because the receiver also provides date and time when it is in a metal can. (if he had previously received coordinates) Thanks for your...

HI Robert, this ino checks if the Receiver is connected or not, that´s fine! (disconnect the Receiver, the Display turns to a white Background and connect the Receiver, the Display turns to a Black Background. But it looks so, if the Receiver is connected but don´t receive any GPS-Signal, the Display have a "Black" background and looks like "All OK", but there are no GPS-Data. In the "old" Version, the Display turns only to a Black Background, when the Receiver has a GPS-Signal, but does not recognise...

Hi Robert, i have a question: I build my myGPS Arduino with a plugable GPS-Receiver. If i forgot to connect the Receiver, so i can see that, because the OLed have a white Background and shows no Data. Connecting the Receiver (and a few secounds later, it receives Data) the Background turns to Black and shows the Data (Time, Date, GPS and so on). But when i disconnect the Receiver (or make a mistake on the Receiver (drop down)) after a "success receive Data", the OLed is still Black, shows Date, GPS,...

Hi Robert, is the 12 Volt detection circuit necessary? I have removed the Diode on my nano in the USB 5 Volt line, the Nano does not boot without the 8 Volts on Vin. So ife the Dispaly is on, or i can connect the App, the 12Volt Power is also on the Stepper. This was my idea to detect the Power.... Greets Andreas

Hi Robert, thank´s for the Apps. There are all working, show´s the right Position, Satelite and Date and Time values. But all the sync GPS- PC-Time Apps i try doesn´t work... (GPS-Time, GPS-Sync, Atomic-Time and so on) Some of this have a "Logger", all data are correct, but no Time-sync.... Maybe there use some other Nmea-values? Thanks for help Best Regards Andreas

Hello Robert, after update to v3 3.25 the OLed shows 1000100% ( or so) for the Humidity. The Windows-App shows correct 30%. A solution for me? Hi Robert, i am sorry for my many Questions. But i cant find the #define lcdupdatestepcount 15 in the Focuserv258_DRV8825_HW203_OLED_RE_F.ino file that i use. In the Focuserv258_DRV8825_HW203_OLED_F.ino there is the lcdupdatestepcount. So my Focuser will update every 1 step the Display. I test the Focuserv258_DRV8825_HW203_OLED_F.ino with lcdupdatestepcount 50, the difference is now only a few sec. A little thing more, if i count up (eg. 200 to 2000) > all OK, but at count down (eg. 2000 to 200)...

Hi, i added the CR and the Target Pos is now in a new line, all OK. But, if i have the Display update on move disable, the Target Pos will not shown until in that time the Position is reached. Enable update on move, the Target Pos is shown, but then the move takes nearly 5 time longer. Any solution on this? Best regards Andreas

Hi Robert, thanks for the quick Info. One more question, The led also very dark when the Stepper moves eg. 1000 Steps, the Move-Time is about 2s, but no brightness. Can i solder a Condensator to strech the pulse for the LED, or can you programm a "Direction-Info" on the OLED? Best Regards Andreas

Hello Robert, the Direction-LED´s are bright at power up, but when the Stepper is running, the LED´s is no longer bright, almost not visible. I use the OLED with Rotary-Encoder. Is this normal? Thanks for support. Andreas

Hi Robert, on my Dew-Controller is a differenc between the three DS18B20 and the DHT22 from about 0.8 C°. Is this a Problem for the Controller? All three DS18B20 shows eg. 20 C° and the DHT22 schows 20.8 C°. Should or can i calibrate this? Best regards Andreas

sorry, one more, when i enter eg. 32000 for the new Position (start from 0, Home) and klick "Goto" only the first 1 sec. the Stepper runs in Full-Speed mode, then the Steppper continue the move with Slow-Speed to the end. If i klick in the movement on" Halt" and restart the goto Position to 32000, then the stepper will run in fullspeed for the whole time untill the end

Hi Robert, i change my stepper to 1/4 step mode. Now i need 42000 steps for full movement, but the stepcounter switch from 32767 to -32768 (minus) at the OLED current position and count backward (-32767, -32766 and so on).
