    For anyone interested I'll post the most recent transmission parameters I used with DReaM 2.11 Mode A 64/16 @ 10kHz with Opus encoding, stereo. IF offset = 6kHz, prot. level = 2 or 3, IQ level +12, Hi qual. = off I have trialled 16/4 signal and mode B, the audio quality suffers. Dropping to 16/4 does not seem to improve the margin and my difficult paths worked just as well on 64/16. 20kHz channel is not as robust probably due to receiver limitations.     Hi Stefano, At first glance I think the board you are looking at will work very well. I started using a pair of balanced mixers then lowpass filter the output into 2 Watt RF linear amplifier with a high Q helical resonator to tune the desired frequency and attenuate the digital sidebands further. Later I found a hobby board called Time Machine SDR and that has the quad. RF oscillator and mixers on board ready to go. I drive a very old 1kW PEP HF linear with this and with careful attention to the...
