Let's hope I'm not one of those wannabes :S You mentioned a lot of different soft- and hardware (http://roccat.sourceforge.net/general.html#general_software). What is the absolute bare minimum to use in your opinion? Btw, I own BeyondCompare (best tool ever). Do you know libratbag and piper (https://github.com/libratbag)? What do you think about it? The approach of it is to support every vendor in one library and GUI. Currently only the Roccat Kone XTD is supported (and several other vendors).

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately I haven't received any reply from Thomas Berger so far. Luckily I also have a yet unsupported device, the Kone EMP. I'll try my best to figure out on how to implement it. As of yet I'm not really the most experienced C++ dev. It'd be nice to be able to chat with you if my attempts fail. Would you provide that kind of support?
