I'm trying to fit an integrated population model using demographic and abundance data. For the abundance data, I also have an issue with unknown species, where I assign an individual into either correctly identified or left as unidentified. I also have age-structured population dynamics informing the abundance at the time of surveys. So there are lots of moving parts that I need to initialize correctly in order for the values to make sense (e.g., counts <= true abundance). I feel like I've done a...

I feel like my problem has to have been addressed at some point, but I can't seem to find what I need searching through old posts. So sorry if this has been answered before. I have some bird data where I have known detections of 2 species (let's say A and B). I also have detections of individuals that could be either species A or B. I plan to sample the number of ambigous detections that are of each species and add those to the known detections. I'm not having problems until I want to account for...

Hello, I fit a model and tried to save the posterior samples for a few variables...
Thanks for the info on R2jags. I am currently rerunning the model using the rjags...
So, I was playing around with this trying to figure it out, and now I have a question...
Sorry if this gets posted twice, but I tried yesterday and haven't seen my post yet....
