I am trying to utilized a third-party app for capturing old 16mm films. It is the same app (Cinecap Velocity HD) that I use successfully for 8mm film capture. I am able to communicate with my capture software to the capture camcorder (Canon HF200) and the images appear in my app, but the minute I try to use the "Capture" function of the Cinecap software I receive the HRESULT: 0x80040217 error.
