If you came here from X, this specific stuff doesn't work. Its "scraps". I just want some help.

I intend to purchase a 3d printer and create something that attaches a slow motion camera & microscope lens to the printer arm. This can be used to read the papers once printed out. I intend to make this attachment a public domain, printable design.

This code finally allows you to break up the pages into chunks small enough to render and print as SVG and GCode. The attached ZIP includes the c source code, an Ubuntu compiled executable, and a readme. How to compile c code in Windows https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/compile-and-run-c-program-in-terminal/

Something i should probably add in the readme is that base16 is standard base16, while base64 is standard base64 except 63 is ; instead of = which can't be used in a filename. This means the capital letters and numbers of base64 represent values different from what capital letters and numbers represent in base16.

If you are getting started with this program, type "./GigaPaper0.7" with no arguments. This will run the program and enter you into the guided mode where you will input values individually. If you are well versed in this program, type "./GigaPaper0.7" followed by a space followed by 1. After that, with a space separating all of the following arguments, type the file location of your input with double quotes around it like "filename.pdf", the file location prefix of your output like "file location...

This works for base16 but not yet base64. I hope to copy over the changes to base64 tonight and release 0.7. Instead of reading the file 16 times, it reads the file once. Much faster.

GigaPaper0.6.1 readme At this stage of development, this is a mess. Please only use files less than 2 MB in size, particularly when you are in base16 . Please only use this in a folder without any important files. If you end up with thousands of little files your GUI file explorer will crash upon opening and you just remove the files in a terminal with *wild card deletions which are dangerous. If you are getting started with this program, type ./GigaPaper0.6 followed by a space followed by any integer...

DO NOT USE THIS you may get a serious error as the software tries and fais to make files with filenames including '/'. This is a base64 number and i failed to remember that it can not be used in filenames. Use Gigapaper0.6.1. '/' is replaced with ';'.

Functioning but not done i will add in the future header io program without io to pass through arguments header loop base64 windows and linux mkdir support gmp support option to check files and see if the output can reconstruct the source, i have already determined this through debugging but mistakes and errors can happen and i want the whole thing confirmed after svg creation. i dont want worthless gibberish printed. output straight to stil or obj? maybe. svg is important so you can see the files...

BOTH TIMES I HAVE POSTED THIS I FAILED TO INCLUDE THE VERY IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER THAT I REPOSTED THIS FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. THIS CURRENTLY FLOODS YOUR OUTPUT FOLDER WITH ONE RECTANGLE FILES. I DONT KNOW WHY. I'M WORKING ON IT. MAKE SURE TO PUT THE OUTPUT IN ITS OWN FOLDER.
