On the older Hawk800 software (2.59a, i think), 'S' mode porta would only slide into a note if the note was pressed then the previous note was released. Unfortunately it sounding the note on the prior key being released made timing kind of awful. Now, it always slides into a note when in 'S' mode, even when no other notes are pressed. That tends to squash the envelope attack so playing something like a bass patch loses it's punch. On most of my other synths (Roland SH-32, Elektron SIDStation, Yamaha...

Thanks for working on this feature! I've been trying this out on my 800MkII the porta slide sounds much better and it's a lot easier to play now that it begins the slide at note-on. Is there a way to get it to slide only on legato and not on the first note? 2.65l unfortunately seems very glitchy in some other areas. Where's the best place to report bugs regarding a specific version?
