Hi John, We are trying to communicate with GE Carescape R860 ventilator with Vscapture software named " GE Engstrom Ohmeda Anaesthesia" under the Ventilators branch. And we are using 3 pin Rx,Tx,Gnd cable for connection. But we cant read anything so far from the Ventilator. Obviously we are doing something wrong, any clues or any help will be highly appreciated. thank you.

It works with aten uc232A and with proper null modem cables. tested and worked.

Dear John, I read the discussions about GE B650 monitor. As you mentioned there the usb connection must be made at usb 4, you did show it on the picture at Twitter but... we have here a carescape b650 monitor which has 4 usb ports. we tried your codes but could not get a single byte from it. We are using Digitus ftdi usb to serial converters (2) and fem to fem db9 cable with rts and cts pins connected (null modem cable). I send you the picture of the ports. Can you please advice which port to use....

Dear John, Nurses can set NBP measurement periods using Philips Central monitor or either they can start and stop measurement by the same way. I checked DATA EXPORT INTERFACE PROGRAMMING GUIDE but coud not get the clue out of it. So according to your expertise, is there a way to accomplish that command over that protocol? kind regards tolga

Hello John, thank you for the reply. I appreciated very much. Let me ask you one last question, will the serial port and the lan interface which is associated to the central monitor work together properly? did you experienced that issue in real time ?

Hello, We need to integrate 16 MX550 Patient Monitors to our software, it is ok when we shut down the phillips central monitor. we can get patient data from the monitors but when we activate Phillips central monitor we cannot read any data. How come and do you suggest any solution or work arround. Thank you very much from now.
