Dear fellow airplane designers, i have a question about the location of the aircraft neutral point. I know about the shown XNP position in the 3D plane view, and I also know about how to determine the NP position by shifting the CG position backwards until the CM-Alpha Graph shows a horizontal behaviour. Both options work and both show the same NP position. But i just performed a stability analysis and in the log file right below the longitudinal derivatives there is also a neutral point position...
