    Glad to hear you have sorted out your issue, and thanks for posting the solution, as it will help others. (PS I normally appear on this forum as Adrian Kentleton (my real name), but I've had to create a new alias account, because whenever I've tried to login recently with my normal account, I get a '500' ie Unspecified Internal Server Error; nothing seems to resolve the issue eg requesting password reset etc has not helped!)

    I can't help you with bvckup2, since I don't use it, but I wonder why you bother with paid-for software which claims to only do one thing viz mirror files from source to destination, when Windows has an in-built command-line copy utility which mirrors superbly well viz robocopy. The advantage of robocopy is it can be incoporated into batch files along with Veracrypt command-line instructions; you can easily acheive what you are trying to do with a simple batch file.
