Downloading pictures work, but e.g. initiating
capturing from the computer does not work. This has
been tested on x86 (gentoo), ppc and alpha (both Debian
testing).

no response so far):

If this bug cannot be fixed, plese update the
documentation.

I did not explicitly set anything, I just used gphoto2. I
will read the documentation tonight and see if I can set a
driver explicitly.

if you use PTP mode (--camera "Canon PowerShot G5 (PTP mode)" --port usb: )
it will support remote control.
