I'm now attaching the problems I was having with the
coLinux loading. And I did following the read me
instructions. I'm thinking I didn't do the Network
connections for sharing properly.
There where no attachments. Did you uncompress the image,
have you looked at the getting started guide
(http://wiki.colinux.org/cgi-bin/GettingStarted) which is
not the same as the readme, and might be better/easier to
follow for getting up and running?
What's the command-line you are using to run colinux, what's
your configuration file look like?

As a result of the number of queries regarding setup/startup
problems, it may be a good idea to add an option to the
installer (with a tick box checked by default) - "Show
Getting Started Guide" - and if you choose/download a
distribution through the GUI installer - an option to show
the distribution specific getting started guide - like http://wiki.colinux.org/cgi-bin/GentooDeluxHowto. This
option would then (post-installation) cause the page to be
loaded with your default browser.

The problems starting up are almost always colinux problems,
and not distoro specific. The real solution is to have the
Getting Started Guide as the README file on installl. I
like the idea of having the README/Getting Started Guide
coming up as part of the install, if they have chosen to
download an image.
BTW, the number of queries for starting up hasn't magically
increased, there have pretty much always been these
questions... They are just no starting to make their way to
the SF Support tracker... Typically they are in the ML or
on IRC.

"Getting Started Guide" is now shorter and available as "view notes" on SF before you download the installer.
