Hi
the term GO:0005578 'proteinaceous extracellular matrix' should only apply to eukaryotes, see its definition:
A layer consisting mainly of proteins (especially collagen) and glycosaminoglycans (mostly as proteoglycans) that forms a sheet underlying or overlying cells such as endothelial and epithelial cells.
Therefore, could the mapping of IPR001818 to GO:0005578 be changed to 'GO:0031012 extracellular matrix' instead, as this InterPro domain matches a large number of non-eukaryotic proteins.
Thanks,
Emily
Hi,
I agreed that GO:0031012 is more appropriate so I have changed the GO term. Thanks for pointing this out.
