I have an Edimax EW-7105c+ PCMCIA Card which I
believe uses the Texas Instruments ACX100 chip. I
have followed the instructions closely but get a
failure to install even though Mandrake 9.2 running
Kernel 2.4.22-21 and using the Network Connection
Wizard recognises the card correctly. Running
start_net as root gives the same result. Can you
shed some light on this. The following is from
dmesg. The card has been correctly inserted and the
card manager has been activated and updated. I am
using pre4.
Thanks,
Rick Phillips

wireless network card
acx100: that uses the mysterious ACX100 chip from

Hmm, sounds like a bug (read: unsupported hardware type) to me.
Please attach a log with debug 0xffff.

Please retry with newest driver and different firmware and
radio module image versions (maybe it's the firmware which
causes your card CPU to hang?)
