This is the Japanese localized version of Fire0.99.1.

I could not change the Menu>Status>Edit Away Messages...
so if you could replace that, I would appreciate it.

Also On this (both English and Japanese) is not able to create
an irc account. Please do check that for us.

    I've checked in the localization. Still need to make sure that
    converting Localizable.strings to UTF-16 fixed the issues you
    mentioned.

    well, I changed the encoding to utf-16, but no notable change from
    utf-8 on the Japanese Localization. The same problem exists with
    the Edit Away Message in Menu item under Status.

    I did this on my local copy (meaning I did not download the file
    from SF since I did not know you changed anything that is up
    there).

    Japanese on my build from what is in CVS now. Closing.
