I just started using a powerbook as a stereo/TV
display, but it won't wake from sleep. So I run OSXvnc
on startup on it. I have enabled Rendezvous support,
so I can boot it in the morning and just control it
from my other powerbook.
Since my nice shiney new powerbook sleeps just fine, I
have Chicken running all the time. So, if I've
connected to the other powerbook once, all my settings
are saved. But when I click on the server name or it,
Chicken crashed.
The last log is attached.

OK, I forgot the pertitant part.
Since the new powerbook doesn't crash on sleep, chicken runs
all the time. When the older powerbook comes up, it
registers itself, I see it in the server list from the new
powerbook, and all works just fine. I can connect as many
times as I like.
Once the old powerbook is rebooted, however, the next time I
select the server from the list, chicken crashes. Note it's
not when I select "Connect", it's when I click on the
rendezvous server.

I've seen something similar, but I'm having a really hard time tracking
down a good reproduction case. Is your issues with the CVS version, or
the released beta 2?

CVS from about 2 weeks ago (maybe a little longer. I got
the localization stuff for Italian in it).

I checked in a fix to some load bugs in the rendezvous settings load
code. I'm not sure it will fix your specific issue, but it fixes a number of
crashing issues related to quiting, and selection changing. Tell me if you
continue to see the problem.

Looks like updating to latest CVS fixed the problem.
