Let myabstraction be an abstraction which has "graph on parent" enabled but NOT "hide object name and parameters".

In a main patch, create an instance of such an abstraction, with or without creation arguments, e.g. [myabstraction]

The instance will be created and you will see the object's gui AND still see the object name as expected.

Now, still in Edit Mode, try to clickl just after the last character of the object's name, in order to edit the object box (for example in order to add some creation arguments).

Expected: the cursor should appear at the end of the object's name

Observed: the cursor appears at the beginning.

Workaround: if you click anywhere BELOW tha line of text, you'll have the cursor at the end. Also you can click on the last-but-one character and have the cursor appear there, and then use the right arrow key.

This is a rather minor issue, but it works fine with non-gop objects and used to work fine also with gop objects until version 0.42.5

This does not only happens with gop-enabled objects but with any object.

And it is a bit worse than that: when this happens, you cannot reach the end of the text even with the arrow keys; if from the last-but-one character you hit the right arrow, you are back at the beginning of the text.

However this is intermittent; by clicking in and out the object several times, it randomly eventually lets you edit it normally.

This makes Pd 0.43 kind of unusable, so I'm raising the priority,. Hope I'm not exagerating by setting it to 8, but this is a real showstopper (how can you seriously develop if you have to nervosuly click on an object a random number of times every time you want to edit it?)

I can't reproduce this on linux with latest git (29565d550).
if I click on the object's name, all the text get selected (that's what I'd expect).

    Maybe it is windows-only?
I was testing it on Windows (sorry I forgot to mention)

I tried to recreate this on 0.43.0 on windows and couldn't reproduce it... Windows 2K - maybe I need
to "upgrade" my windows at last :)
