I don't think I want to fix this by simply allowing a handle to start with '!'. I would rather have a "Login anonymously" checkbox on the login panel. This, however, means another commandline parameter (http://www.jinchess.com/wiki/index.php/Commandline_Arguments) needs to be added. Since I'm on the verge of releasing Jin 2.14, I'd rather not start major changes at this point. I'll most likely fix this for 2.14.1.

I also have this problem - I need an ! as first character as my username to log on anonymously and jin will not let me do so.
