If you load the attached OMR file (which loads the saved state of the game from the attached CAS file), you'll see the error happening. At the bottom right of the screen it shows ERROR 0030 0510 0550.

It seems that a cracked disk version almost runs normally, but it hangs up the same way when starting the emulated MSX without pressing CTRL key. I do not have this version, however.

    OK, the original reporter found out that it's an UMR in the game. If RAM is initialized on 0x00, the game does not give the error. The machine used in the test run is an A1WX, with 64k mapper initialized on 0xFF.

    Submitter confirmed that the error actually happens also on a Sanyo PHC-23J, for which we implement the intiial RAM pattern. But as on the real hardware, it still occurs.

    Anyway, this is a bug in the game, not in openMSX, so closing this bug.
