Am I right in thinking that Postgres only supports MATCH
FULL? We dont have MATCH PARTIAL at all! So, is there any
point in putting in the option?

Yes, PostgreSQL lacks MATCH PARTIAL but there are two other
types, FULL and SIMPLE.

you wish to use the feature before the next release, please
download a nightly snapshot:
