It would be handy to have shortlink support for queries. The closest thing available now is creating a bookmarked query. For convenience of IM'ing/emailing results around it'd be nice to be able to send a link for the result set you were looking at. To clarify I'm not looking for a way to cache the state of a resultset at any certain point in time; just a direct phpmyadmin link with the query I want to send.

Are you telling about a scenario which people accessing a same database server or local machine which having same database?
If so, you need to get a link for result set which is like
"http://localhost/phpmyadmin/sql.php?params=xxx" . Am I right ?
What about having a link, where the sql query is shown in display resulting page, near to the links "Inline", "Edit", "create php" etc. as "show link" or some thing to show the link for result set in that window.
Hope you got my idea. Fell better to clarify these before move to implementations
