Builder3d does not make methyls in staggerd conformation

When building 3D models for molecules using the new builder3D, methyl
groups are generally not oriented in staggered conformation, i.e. the
torsions H-C(me)-X-Y is 0 degrees, instead of 30 degrees. For example,
try ethane on c-d-k.org.
