this aptch makes patch for making "load X Y Z" snmpsettable via snmpset,
it behaves the same as sysName.0, once written in snmpd.conf, it becames readonly.

The patch that I downloaded from the above page isn't complete and only changes the definition without providing an actual write function? can you please attach the complete patch to this report?

update to 5.5 started by some other developer, seems not complete if you read the changelog in there
I've applied it to the trunk and it'll be in the 5.6 release. Note that your patch doesn't change the MIB file, which is needed as well. Change the laConfig to read-write in mibs/UCD-SNMP-MIB.txt.
