No

OS is RHEL AS3.0 (2.4.21)
S/W is net-snmp 5.1.2

We explicitly configured to disable the sending of
authentication failure traps with authtrapenable 2
in the snmpd.conf file. When we do SNMP get on the
SNMP agent, the snmpd daemon returns
snmpEnableAuthTraps.0 = disabled.

However, the SNMP trap receiver is still receiving
Authentication failure traps from this SNMP agent.
Our SNMP trap receiver is HP Openview NNM.

The snmpd.conf file we used is attached.

    Thanks for the bug report! We've fixed the problem in the
    5.1.x and 5.2.x code branches and the main development tree,
    so it should be fixed in future releases of the net-snmp package.
