We are running RedHat Linux AS 2.1 Kernel
2.4.9-e.40smp

dmesg shows :

However when we look at our stats using MRTG it only
reports all the cards at running 10 mbps although I am
sure they are all at 100 mbps as that is the standard
here and that is what dmesg shows. I had also opened
a problem with MRTG but the developer said he only
reports what has been given him and I opened a problem
with Dell and they just gave me some commands to
hard-code the speed which I am not supposed to to
here. I have all the current redhat network updates on
and we have other systems running linux but with a
different version on your software that are reporting
correctly. We are running Redhat ES 30 with
net-snmp-5.0.9-2.30E.3
working just fine. Any thoughts?

Can you confirm that this is only a problem with
the ucd-snmp 4.2.x version of the agent, and that
the net-snmp 5.0.9 agent reports the speed correctly?

Development of the v4 line has now ceased, and
we are concentrating our attentions on the v5 code,
so would be much more interested in hearing whether
the problem exists there or not.
