I stumbled onto the following warning:
/Users/eglebbk/Program/Allegro5/4.9/src/macosx/system.m: In function ‘_al_osx_bootstrap_ok’:
/Users/eglebbk/Program/Allegro5/4.9/src/macosx/system.m:126: warning: ‘bootstrap_register’ is deprecated (declared at /usr/include/servers/bootstrap.h:268)
This time I have no clue about what this code does or how to replace it, and google isn't very helpful.
Comments in the code talk about checking for a "dead bootstrap" where we can't use NSApplication. The only relevant data that turned up in google when looking for "dead bootstrap" and "NSApplication" was the original thread discussing the addition of this code on Acc.
Isn't there another way to test if NSApplication can be used? Shouldn't whatever creates the NSApplication object return NULL in case of failure?
Code disabled.
It can be brought back if needed and if someone works out how to properly bring it back.
