integrate(x, x, minf, inf);

Maxima version: 5.10.0Maxima build date: 14:57 10/18/2006host type:
i686-pc-linux-gnulisp-implementation-type: GNU Common Lisp
(GCL)lisp-implementation-version: GCL 2.6.7

(%i13) integrate(x, x, minf, inf);
Principal Value
(%o13) 0

But:

It should be:

inf - inf

But this is not equal to zero but should be considered indefinite.

    Maxima printed out "Principal value". 0 is the principal value for that integral, right?

    Thanks for this bug report. The underlying problem is that Maxima says inf - inf => 0, so it is a duplicate of [ 1562671 ] Handling of infinities. I've raised the priority of 1562671. Closing this report.
