Hi

Is this a Bug or Feature?

The Mapsitze parameter from the SETTINGS has no effect on the production of GMF's for Glopus. The Tiles always 256x256.

The map size from the settings dialog affects the map size (the area size covered by each GFM files) not the tile size.
If you want to change the tile size use the custom tile processing options.

    Hi

thanks for the answer, but i can select (checkmark) the box Recreate/adjust map tile processing but the boxes Width and Height are grayed an not changable. The Values 256/256 are fix
    What do i wrong?

    Hi
i will not rescale the tiles! eg. 4 Tiles build a new Tile with 1024x1024 in the gmf File.

    Hi

Sorry 4x4 Tiles with 256x256 builds a new Tile with 1024x1024. This reduces tilescount dramatically and increases the performance of glopus

That is a bug of the current previews. Use an older preview instead until it works.

    Hi

sorry! I think not a bug in the new preview. I have this tested with a older version from MOBAC V 1.8 Beta 1 with the same Bug?
    For clarification:
If I use Glopus (PNG & KAL) I can configure the "Settings Mapsize" (preferably optimal for glopus 1024) the generated file are ok. Then I do this with my local GMF-tool to pack into a GMF file. This is ok

The same should be produced at the Atlas Glopus Map File (GMF) generation just put the Files from the "Glopus (PNG & KAL" output into a GMF file.

Sorry, but I don't understand your problem. I just used v1.8 final for creating a GMF files with custom tile size and converted tile format (PNG to JPG).

I assume that you are getting confused between map size and tile size. Your converter takes the Glopus PNG file as tile therefore you set the map size to 1024.

For Glopus GFM the map size only determines how large the area is that is written to one GMF file - not how large the tiles inside the file are! This is specified by the custom tile size which works in v1.8 final.

    Hi

ok. In the older version i can set "Layer settings: custom tile processing", but set Mapsize in Settings has no effect as Glopus (PNG&KAL)....

I am not sure if it has an effect as all maps within one layer are written into the same GMF file. I have never used Glopus therefor I don't know if you can select the layers within Glopus. If not you are right.

Tile processing options and map size can have a totally different effect for different atlas formats (or even no effect) - but that depends on the atlas format and the features it supports.
