In previous versions, the approving ADMIN received a copy of the email sent by the system indicating that a new users account had been activated. It can be helpful when a new user claims not to received the email and we can simply forward it with the original date. It is also confirmation that the system is functioning properly, so that we know as admins, that emails are being processed.

Stephen, not sure if I'm misunderstanding you, but on a registration just this weekend I got these emails:
1 - Hello Administrator ... A prospective user registered himself with PhpGedView at ...
2 - Hello Administrator ... User xxxx (John Doe) has confirmed his request for an account.
Isn't number 2 the one you think is missing, or was there a third, after admin had approved the account? I don't remember ever getting that one if it was there.
Nope Kiwi, I'm talking about the email, a copy of which is now included here:
====copy of previous acknowledgement follows====
You sent the following message to a MyArnolds' User account:
Your account at the MyArnolds Genealogy Website has been approved by the site administrator. You may now login to the MyArnolds Genealogy Site by going to the link below:

I've just updated the phpMailer class to the latest version. One of the problems it claimed to fix was CC/BCC issues.
Can one of you gents test it for me (to make sure this hasn't broken it completely)
Greg
Yes, all the emails work as they should EXCEPT the last approval one. It did send the "The administrator at the PhpGedView site http://www.myarnolds.com has approved your application for an account. You may now login by accessing the following link:" email, but it sent it from the GENEALOGY account, rather than the TECHNICAL account, (as the others came), AND it did not cc the site admin as it used to do.
