If you say to Von Braun "I have all the ingredients of that brew" then the conversation repeats twice, I don't know if this is normal.
Also happens when asking for your last cigarette after Drascular captures you.

    Can you please provide step by step instructions for each case? And which of the saves you provided need to be loaded?

    I'm sorry I know it's unhelpful but I can't remember which save to use or the step by step actions as it was a while ago and my memory sucks. But as far as I remember the first example I gave happened every time in a normal play through and it's at the beginning of the game. The second example I don't remember at all.

    Could you please perhaps retest it then? I do not know the game well, and it may take much more time from me that from you. And I'd better spend this time on fixing the bug instead of playing the game ;)

    I downloaded the aves I attached here and used the Drascular download from the ScummVM site with the Ogg music pack. I'm running ScummVM 1.2.0svn48505.
    - load the only save file from the attached saves.
    - walk in the house, talk to the guy in the chair (right click for inventory & actions along the top).
    - choose the option "I have all the ingredients of that brew"

    There will be a glitch in your character (he turns into a black box for a second) during the conversation, after the old guy walks out your character will walk forwards and look at the wall (I'm guessing this is the animation that was meant to play during the glitch before) and start the conversation again.

    I wasn't sure if this was normal or not because of the broken English and differences between speech and subtitles, so parts of the conversation don't make sense anyway.

    It seems I didn't provide a save for the second example and it's near the end of the game (and playing this game through once was enough for me) sorry.
