However, I suggest to adopt the new Wikimedia footer which will be used from the next 15th of June (http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Licensing_update):

I guess it'll be easier to see what's missing (text) once it's tested to see how it looks, and how it fits with the different articles.
By now is a good "template" :).

Nemo, if you want to improve again the template in Italian, please send per mail a new version, I will integrate it.
About the list of authors, I have a few questions: Is this legally mandatory? Do you prefer a global list? A list at the end of each article? Both?
* How essential is this feature for you?
Currently part of the code to do such things is already coded but not really integrated to the rest... so I can do all the stuff... the question is more about the priority.

Well, according to the new terms of use, it won't.
But all the DVDs published so far did have it, so it can be considered a standard (and so required by the license itself, although there's no consensus on this), and I would consider strongly advisable to include it.

A list at the end of each article, as we have always done.
How essential is this feature for you?
Well, on a scale from 1 to 10, if e.g. categories are 8 authors list is 7.
Thank you again.

I think a link to the license is necessary in every page. Maybe also a link to the article history is needed to respect the license.
For comparison, here follows the text found in the footer of every page it.wiki:
* Il testo è disponibile secondo la licenza <Creative Commons="" Attribuzione-Condividi="" allo="" stesso="" modo="">(1); possono applicarsi condizioni ulteriori. Vedi le <condizioni d'uso="">(2) per i dettagli. Wikipedia® è un marchio registrato della <Wikimedia Foundation,="" Inc.="">(3)
I think these links should be reinserted, for the internal link IMHO static dedicated pages have to be set up (I would also include a page with a transcription of the license). I think that is also needed to add a link to the original article history to give credit to the original authors (requested by the "attribution" clause). Something like:
"Per conoscere l'elenco degli autori visita la <cronologia della="" pagina="" originale="">(7)"
New ZIM files include a footer with the license and a link to the original page. It's still not localized, but this will come... IMO this problem is fixed.
This will be done... although I do not want to give for every article the list of authors (not so easy to do).
I have add the capacity to append such footer automatically during the mirroring process.
Can you please translate (and improve if necessary) in Italian the following template:
http://kiwix.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/kiwix/mirroring_tools/data/en/footer.html.tmpl?revision=597&view=markup
The full list of authors would be helpful: the Directmedia DVD includes the full history, and if I remember correctly the wanda CD provides a list of authors at the end of page, so you can maybe use their code (but there are many tools, e.g. this one: http://toolserver.org/~escaladix/lauteurs/ and this http://toolserver.org/~tim/cgi-bin/contribution-counter which is a beta).

Thank you for Ark for your Spanish translation.
Thank you Nemo for you improvments in English and translation in Italian.
All of them are integrated to the trunk:

... and footers will be consequently present in the next ZIM file releases.

Hi,
I think a link to the license is necessary in every page. Maybe also a link to the article history is needed to respect the license.

* Il testo è disponibile secondo la licenza <Creative Commons="" Attribuzione-Condividi="" allo="" stesso="" modo="">(1); possono applicarsi condizioni ulteriori. Vedi le <condizioni d'uso="">(2) per i dettagli. Wikipedia® è un marchio registrato della <Wikimedia Foundation,="" Inc.="">(3)

(3) points to http://www.wikimediafoundation.org/

(5) points to http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:A_proposito_di_Wikipedia

I think these links should be reinserted, for the internal link IMHO static dedicated pages have to be set up (I would also include a page with a transcription of the license). I think that is also needed to add a link to the original article history to give credit to the original authors (requested by the "attribution" clause). Something like:

(7) which should point to http://CODE.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=PAGE_TITLE&action=history
New ZIM files include a footer with the license and a link to the original page. It's still not localized, but this will come... IMO this problem is fixed.
