English Version
Talkie

When you use F2 to enable text throughout the game, during lengthy dialogues the text will grind to a halt until the dialogue is complete then quickly jump through the text dialogue before continuing to the next dialogue.. I'm pretty sure this is because the timing of the Text is off.

Altso there are a LOT of errors in the dialogue from talkie to text, for example Bud will say to the Record Seller in the Mall, "The Name's Bud." And you can clearly hear the seller saying, "okay bud." but the text only says Okay.

There are alot of these errors throughout the game so i won't bother to put up a savegame.

Regarding second point, it's probably due to the texts in the datafiles not matching the speech ; so nothing we can do, I am afraid.

Doh, i should've thought of that, ofcourse the text is part of the datafiles and are copyright protected.

They did a lousy job translating it / subbing it anyway.

But still, can't remember the text being "bundled up" and hanging in lengthy conversations on the original executables.

This bug is nice to get fixed before the release. Raising priority for keeping the track.

One sync issue was left, it should be fixed with commit d9140ab62683c624a8f2fc294df027cc94c01c84.
But still, there are numerous differences in the written text and the spoken dialogue (ie. sometimes 1 wav file for several lines of dialogue, which makes the sync not possible at all).
