For some reason we have CHAPBOOK at the publication level but not at the title level. I thought this used to be available meaning the project would be to investigate if and why it was removed and if the code still exists to display them.

You should see Bug 1892421 'Chapterbook Titles Can Be Created' - It appears You and Ahasuerus need to figure out the correct direction for this issue. - Kpulliam - Anonymously cause I was lazy
I favor full support for a chapbook type, or something simialr type. i also favor renaming it, perhaps to "Short work" or "Short Pub" which should cover all the various uses we would want to make of it.

Submitted changes to reenable Chapterbook support, on the way to SHORTWORK/BOOK support. For now: allow CHAPTERBOOK contents and title types, hide CHAPTERBOOK contents for CHAPTERBOOK publications, etc. Renaming can come later.
Affected modules: biblio/pl.py v1.10 , edit/editpub.py v1.5, edit/edittitle.py v1.4, edit/isfdblib.py v1.5, edit/rmtitles.py v1.3
Existing CHAPTERBOOK titles are not listed in Chronological (http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/ch.cgi?Nette%20Hilton) nor in Alphabetical (http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/ae.cgi?Nette%20Hilton) bibliographies - biblio/ch.py, biblio/ae.py
Also, CHAPTERBOOK-only series are not displayed in the Summary bibliography (but if a CHAPTERBOOK is added to a series containing NOVEL titles, it is displayed as part of the series and not in the Chapterbooks section).
Partially implemented in r2009-05 -- see Bill's comments from 2009-06-20 19:25. We still need to change "CHAPTERBOOK" to "Chapbooks" or "Shortwork" and decide how we want them to behave.
Implemented except for the new name for Chapterbooks.
