NetFoundry is an identity-first Zero Trust workload connectivity platform designed to secure connections between applications, APIs, machines, AI agents, sites, cloud environments, and operational technology systems. Built on the OpenZiti open source platform, it creates private, policy-controlled connections without relying on traditional inbound ports, VPN tunnels, or IP-based trust. Each workload receives a cryptographic identity, and connections are established only after mutual authentication and identity-based policy authorization. NetFoundry supports use cases including AI security, microsegmentation, site-to-site connectivity, API security, OT and IoT connectivity, and embedded Zero Trust for solution providers. Its outbound-only architecture helps reduce attack surface, limit lateral movement, and simplify connectivity across heterogeneous networks with overlapping address spaces.
