Jenner is a SAS-compatible analytics platform. It runs the SAS programs an organisation already has - the DATA step, the macro language, PROC SQL and 230 documented procedures - without requiring a SAS license.
It is a clean-room implementation of the SAS 9.4 language, written in Rust, and runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. Existing programs run as written rather than being ported to another language, which is usually the part that makes leaving SAS too expensive to start.
Jenner runs in three places, billed the way each place works:
- In your browser: a hosted JupyterLab workspace your team shares. Free tier, then arranged.
- On your machine: a native app on your own hardware. Free, or 199 USD per year.
- From your systems: programs executed over HTTP, for pipelines and agents. Free tier, then arranged.
Every one of the 230 procedures has a published reference page, in 16 languages.
