ZenphotoCMS is a CMS for self-hosted, gallery-focused websites. Our focus lies on being easy to use and having all the features there when you need them (but out of the way if you do not). ZenphotoCMS features support for various media formats and integrated blog and custom pages. ZenphotoCMS is the ideal CMS for personal websites of illustrators, artists, designers, photographers, filmmakers and musicians. Zenphoto was started in May of 2005 with a published specification on a weblog (trisweb.com), and each version saw dozens of comments leading to a revision of the specs and more ideas for subsequent versions. It was a fruitful and enjoyable development process that is not even close to being finished. Upload files and folders via the administration or directly via FTP. Search engine with boolean expressions. Dynamic albums based on "saved searches". Multifile upload, scheduled publishing, RSS, watermarks, automatically generated sized images, EXIF/IPTC metadata support.

The jAlbum desktop application creates photo album websites from your images. Just drag and drop images (and videos) onto jAlbum, press "Make" and your website is ready to upload to your own site. Or to jalbum.net if you don't have one. Unlike competing image sharing services, we don't lock your photos into one single place. YOU have full control of the management, storage and presentation of YOUR images. Furthermore, your precious metadata is managed using open standards = no lock in. Host your images with us or with ANY web hotel you like. Your galleries will work - even without us. Competitors offer few choices for stylish presentations (typically only CSS variations to the same functionality). Photo gallery for self-hosted personal servers. You configure photoview to search for media directly from the file system. The media is then automatically organized based on the file structure, directories will become albums that are populated with the photos and videos found inside it. It will automatically rescan for new media and add it to keep it updated. This approach gives you the full control to organize your media how you want. Let it be using a file server like Samba or FTP, or even files from a Nextcloud instance. Multiple users can be configured, each with their own directory of photos and videos. Each user is configured with a username and password, to keep their media private. Albums and individual photos or videos can easily be shared by generating a public or password-protected link. When photos are analyzed for EXIF metadata, this information is displayed next to the photo.
