If you prefer to go through your mail in the evening, turn on the dark theme. It lowers screen contrast and is more comfortable on the eyes. You can also change sounds in the settings. Choose the one you like. Finally, you can swipe the screen to delete or archive your email. Customize it to your liking. If a sender attaches a picture, you see its thumbnail next to the subject of the message in the Inbox.

    Pros: It is way smoother and responsive than Google in all respects. It has 2FA and privacy concerns are taken into account. You get a cloud storage of 15gb, but they go on increasing once you reach the limits. It has inbuilt translation tool, which can even translate whole documents and pdf files too.

    Cons: The pricing for premium services are on the higher side. If they can bring it down, then they will be in an advantageous position.

    Overall: Yandex is far way superior than Gmail & Hotmail. Yandex was launched in 1997 and offers all safety features. And it doesn't flood your inbox with ads.
