"Absolute killer XML editor" Edited 2024-04-06
Pros: - no need to install, it's portable by default (great for working in a corporate company)
- 1,5MB size is minimalistic perfection
- super easy and intuitive to use
- no bug found after years of using (which I cannot say about XML-Pad)
- free for use for non-commercial purposesCons: - web page of the project is http without certificate, which may be blocked by company policies with might IT department
- common concern with all single-programmer projects: who will continue if something happen to the authorOverall: Cannot imagine my life without it any more, there's no other similar editor/viewer of XML files at all (XML-Spy is way too complicated and expensive and XML-Pad from Semyon A. Chertkov was dead long time ago, even his WMHelp domain doesn't exist any more).
