A media player that's made to emulate some of your favorite media players from the past & bring them into the future. WACUP (which can be pronounced as wakeup or wac-up or however you prefer it in your native tongue) is my vision of what a media player should be whilst still being compatible with the plug-ins for some of the most popular media players that you are used to. My plan is to include bug fixes, updates of existing features & most important new features with the goal of eventually becoming its own highly compatible media player. WACUP is heavily based around a plug-in system making it simple to tailor your WACUP install to be what you want it to be. When it's finally out of being a preview build an SDK will eventually be offered so new plug-ins can then be made to add additional features. Yes WACUP will be free to download & use. The intention of becoming a WACUP beta tester is to help ensure WACUP is ready for a wider audience as part of the preview.

Switch to a 10-band graphic equalizer with a preamp to get even more control over your sound experience.

MilkDrop is a music visualizer, a plug-in to the Winamp music player. As you listen to your music in Winamp, MilkDrop takes you flying through the actual soundwaves you're hearing and uses beat detection to trigger myriad psychedelic effects, creating a rich visual journey through sound. MilkDrop can also be driven by a live audio feed (microphone or line-in). MilkDrop 2 is now here, rocking the pixel shaders. MilkDrop comes with Winamp; to download the latest version, just get the latest version of Winamp. When you install Winamp, make sure the MilkDrop 2 visualizer option is selected, so that it gets installed, too. After the installation is completed, launch Winamp. Be sure to play some music before trying to launch the visualizer, otherwise, you'll get a black screen. To configure MilkDrop's options, exit the visualizer. Click start and it will launch the visualizer. If you want to go full-screen, just double-click on the visualizer itself.

Morphyre is a music-responsive visualization system that aims to enhance and transform the experience of listening to music on individual computers and, through Morphyre Pro, in nightclubs and at gigs. Morphyre creates fascinating shapes, tunnels, and otherworldly forms on your screen which pulse and move in time to your music. We have worked hard to create a huge breadth of scenes with a massive variety of colors, shapes, and textures and we really hope you enjoy using the result. When the installer pops up you will have the choice of installing Morphyre into either Windows Media Player or Winamp. When you select a theme in Morphyre Personal it adjusts the theme of the scene being viewed for all the scenes following the one you are currently on. Every Morphyre scene moves in time with your music, assessing both tempo and volume. The majority of scenes integrate an animated 3D form with a flowing patterned or reiterative background through the use of shadows and warping effects.
