    "WHITESMOKE SCAM"

    Pros: Did an okay job, but the newer version does not run on a Mac. Customer service does not respond to inquiries. It took over 6 weeks to get one reply after REPEATED emails. Company scams buyers.

    Cons: POOR customer service and FRAUDULENT PRACTICES. Sells a "lifetime" subscription that expires in 3 years AND hides the expiration in the EULA agreement. DON'T BUY!

    Overall: DON'T BUY WHITESMOKE THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM! SELLING LIFETIME LICENSES THAT EXPIRE IN 3 YEARS. I RECEIVED THIS EMAIL WHEN I INQUIRED ABOUT BEING LOCKED OUT OF THEIR SITE:

    The term Lifetime, which refers to the software, is common and also applies to the Whitesmoke software 
    This paragraph from our EULA:  
    FOR PURCHASERS OF ONE-TIME-PAYMENT, ONE-TIME-PURCHASE, LIFETIME, OR EXTENDED LICENSES: This License shall be valid for six  (6) years from the purchase date of the Software. For licenses purchased after September 2014, this License shall be valid for three  (3) years from the purchase date of the Software and shall automatically terminate at the end of such term, unless earlier terminated as provided for herein".
