The advanced Excel models offer a unique combination of standardized calculation with maximum flexibility to analyse, forecast and determine the value of a business. All relevant valuation methods, like DCF WACC, DCF APV and multiples, in one model. The models link to databasexs with support data that is relevant to a valuation, like beta’s and multiples.

Easily create valuation reports in PowerPoint or Word based on the valuation models using an add-in. The standard report Valid Value supplies provides a solid basis for every valuation but it is also possible to link the model to your own report format. The link between Excel and PowerPoint/Word is dynamic and changes in the Excel model can be implemented in the reports in Word or PowerPoint with a push of a button.

    Cons: To be honest, nothing I can think of off the top of my head.

    Pros: -Excel models are saved at our own servers, not remote
    -Efficient setup and accurate calculations
    -Scaleble for high level versus deep-dive valuations
    -Dynamic exports to our own PPT reports, fast updating when Excel output has changed
    -support data for Cost of Capital data and multiples from various sources

    Cons: It would be nice if running multiple scenario's could be automised (instead of manually building this in). We understand that this will be a new future in the upcoming release.

    Overall: Best Excel based valuation tool we have seen in the market. Combining multiple valuation methods (e.g. DCF WACC and Multiples) serves our needs. Standardised default formulae eliminates risk of model-errors.

    Pros: Easy to understand.
    A lot of different functionalities/ features.
    Very quick and good support desk for a fixed price model.

    Cons: Not very flexible to modify templates and tables/ graphs (highly standardized).

    Overall: Perfect program to make financial analyzes, especially valuations.
    We use this program as a base for all of our financial models.

    Pros: Output features and automatic update link for word, excel en powerpoint.

    Cons: Design of input tab is complicated.

    Overall: Valid Value in a professional valuation program used by more than 40 users within our Aeternus Corporate Finance team. The program is fine tuned for the professional high-end user and includes many relevant valuation tools.
    We use Valid Value in valuations for M&A transactions and for expert work.
    We can recommend Valid Value as one of the most advanced tools for valuation practice.
