"Easy tool for designer" Edited 2024-09-19
Pros: - You don't need to have any code base knowledge to have your portfolio site up and running.
- There are many different templates to start with, so you don't need to build everything from scratch.
- UI is easy to navigate, intuitive and you can start building your site very quickly.Cons: - Support is very limited: if you have any questions, you want to get some support via phone or live chat. They don't have it, the only way to reach out is email... which takes some time to get back from them.
- Domain connection: If you have a domain from other places you want to move here, it's very very difficult... I still can't figure it out with many emails with their support.Overall: Overall I like the simplicity of the tool, I build my site within 2 days. But if the support part could improve, it will be much better.

"Fit for purpose" Posted 2024-08-28
Pros: I think making portfolios is very time intensive and this product makes it easier. In the time I've had my portfolio up on UXfolio, I've noticed that they update it fairly regularly and the tools to set up case studies are fairly easy to use. I especially enjoy that the templates are updated frequently. I would recommend UXfolio to fellow UX designers.
Cons: I take some issue with the amount of flexibility allowed on UXfolio eg. being able to adjust the width of content in columns. Rolling out changes to the colour scheme of my portfolio has been inconsistent. There are always some spots where the background colour doesn't apply and needs to be updated manually. Allowing adjustments to a selected template should be possible but somehow is not - I can't add an image to a hero banner when the template doesn't have it. Adding background images and editing them is a bit janky, you can never be sure how it will turn out until you hit save. More UX methods could be available for case study sections. Preset tool logos could also be made available.
Overall: Overall, I have little to complain about. I really enjoy the simplicity and ease of use. I won't be porting to another tool any time soon.

"User Friendliness" Posted 2024-08-26
Pros: I love the aesthetic and the ease of adding project elements.
Cons: What I don't like is that I can't just add elements and create my own tables for example.
Overall: Overall I am happy with my portfolio so far. I wish I could be more creative and add customer elements like lines, and images exactly where I want to put them.

"UXfolio for my portfolio" Posted 2024-08-22
Pros: I'm enjoying using this platform to build my UX portfolio. Its price is competitive compared to others, and its intuitive interface is minimalistic, which makes it clear to me how to navigate. I've been using it for a week and it's been a good experience. I'm receiving tip emails on how to strategically build my portfolio.
Cons: Some small features like the navigation menu and logo. I cannot customize my navigation menu on different pages; if I choose one design for my homepage, that's the one. Additionally, when the logo was added I could not customize the size.
Overall: It's been a great experience overall. I've only been using it for a short period, but I can tell it is a great platform for those looking to build a portfolio from zero.

"UX Designer Review" Posted 2024-08-21
Pros: I love the fact that as a UX designer I have a platform in which I can build my portfolio in a short amount of time. I think one of the main things I like about UXfolio is that they have presets made for case studies that you want to showcase. The best part is, I don't have to use the presets either and can use whatever font or style I choose.
Cons: None I love using it! I found using the entire site easy to use and perfect for my needs.
Overall: Overall a great investment for UX designers for sure. I found the whole experience very easy to use.

"Most useful portfolio builder for UX designers!" Posted 2024-08-21
Pros: I love that UXfolio is specifically designed for UX designers. It has the right features to add and change things that we need for our case studies, rather than generic design portfolio features that other builder have. The mockups are especially helpful, the interface is easy to use. If this was around when I was just starting out in UX it would have been a life saver. Those just learning - go for this rather than the other builders out there. Even for more senior designers who struggle to update their portfolio - this is such a good way to keep it up to date without spending weeks or months building a site. I'm really loving it.
Cons: There are some little features that would be nice to have that may be useful such as stopping scroll in mockups - but there are quick fixes and workarounds to basically every issue I encountered. Their help section and support is super helpful and responsive. You do have to pay and upgrade to make the most of it and actually have more than one case study, which is understandable. I just upgraded and it is definitely worth it considering the pros. Otherwise, no major cons for me.
Overall: Overall UXfolio exceeded my expectations by far. Highly recommend as a user friendly portfolio builder made specifically for us UX/UI/product designers out there. Thanks!

Pros: • Its a easy platform to use;
• I don't need contract a domain or other things to create my first portfolio;
• Its beautiful and organized;
• Have some structure suggestions to UX methods and its really nice.Cons: • It has some bugs and sometimes I need spend a double time recreating the same section because I move one section and other was impacted without touch it;
• I wish add more than 1 link in my header;
• I missing some options to edit colors in body text sometimes;
• I miss to put some tooltips in any or other section or topic;
• More options of UX Methods with charts and tables.Overall: This platform is user-friendly, making it easy to create a beautiful and organized portfolio without needing a separate domain. I appreciate the structure suggestions for UX methods.

However, there are some drawbacks: occasional bugs require double work when moving sections, and the ability to add more than one link in the header would be helpful.
There are also limitations in editing body text colors and adding tooltips. Additionally, more options for UX methods, including charts and tables, would enhance the platform's utility.
Overall, it's a good tool with room for improvement. -

"An excellent choice for busy UX designers" Posted 2024-08-21
Pros: This is a very helpful portfolio builder for UX designers who don't have time to build one from scratch. Site templates are modern, stylish, visually appealing, and easy to fill out. Section templates within a case study are useful for displaying your work and follow a very logical order. Customization options are plentiful and changing / reseting them is easy. The gradient options makes my blue-orange header look extremely smooth and modern.
Cons: Lack of version history can be cumbersome. Some extremely low-level details like underlining links are not an option. Editing case study can be challenging because clicking on it to edit takes you to its full page.
Overall: Building my UXfolio from an existing portfolio was very easy and looks significantly better than the site I made on my own. I could easily create 4 unique case studies (Design, Research, Accessibility, Case Study) and improve them. It is now much easier to manage my site and portfolio than it was working with code.

"Perfect Software for Designers" Edited 2024-08-23
Pros: This is a really easy software for product designers to share their work, without spending too much time trying to learn how to use the software first. With UXfolio I was able to upload more of case studies in 1 week, than I did in months using other softwares.
Cons: What I think could be improved is having more sections regarding UX methods, but we have the basics, so it is still pretty fast to personalize anything else we want to add.
Overall: I really liked the experience of UXfolio and wish I could have discovered it earlier. In the last year I have redesigned my portfolio a lot of times and it was always a nightmare because of the softwares I used, but now that I am using UXfolio I redesigned everything and added more case studies in just 1 week! Besides the easy way to add sections to case studies, the suggestions on how to write and explain each design method helped me A LOT!

"Kind of awesome resource" Posted 2024-08-21
Pros: That you can save so much time building a UX portfolio, and that is quite great. The templates are super and the case studies are easily build.
Cons: Well some log in problems, some UI problems as well, and there should be a bit maybe more customization I think (for example for 1 portfolio template you have just 1 case study template)
Overall: I think the resource is awesome to be honest, and so on point with how annoying and time demanding it can become to design case studies for UX portfolios. Is just it need to be perfected, but for example I emailed them to fix some problems and they really answered every time, really friendly and dedicated. So yes, I like this a lot.

Pros: - It's very intuitive, with an in-line editing approach, makes it super quick to select from the list of widgets and drop them into the case study.
- It is also flexible, there is a lot of customisation which allows me to tailor the general look and feel to my perferences.
- Easy to learn, did not take me long at all, which meant I could focus more on my case studies rather than learning another tool.
- Instantly updating. When you make a change to the site, it automatically updates, so I can preview the site as a general user alongside editing it!Cons: - Would be nicer to have the plan a little cheaper.

Pros: The platform offers a range of beautifully designed templates that make it easy to create visually appealing portfolios without needing advanced technical skills. One of the standout features is the case study builder, which allows designers to showcase their projects in a structured and engaging manner, highlighting the design process and outcomes effectively. Additionally, the responsive design ensures that portfolios look great on all devices, from desktops to mobile phones, which is crucial for reaching a wider audience.
Cons: The templates are fantastic, but having more flexibility to tweak or start from scratch would enhance the overall user experience. According to me, UXfolio seems to be relatively unknown among designers. Increased marketing efforts could help raise awareness and attract more users.
