Cons: There’s a slight learning curve if you’re new to engineering metrics, but once you get the hang of it, it’s smooth sailing. It’s definitely well-tailored for engineering teams.

Overall: Typo has really boosted our team’s productivity and transparency. It’s perfect for tracking progress, spotting inefficiencies, and staying aligned with business goals. Plus, their customer support is super responsive—they even implemented a feature we suggested! If you're managing a dev team, give Typo a shot; it’s worth it.

Pros: The integration process with Typo is straightforward, and the availability of a free tier is appealing. The Typo platform has been instrumental in addressing our challenge of prolonged review and merging times for pull requests. Additionally, it provides a comprehensive overview of the developers’ work continuity, enabling better tracking and management of ongoing tasks.

Cons: So far so good. If there is any requirement the typo team is highly responsive towards it, so nothing to dislike.

Overall: Typo provides visibility into developers’ git commit activity, allowing me to identify potential roadblocks or bottlenecks. The implementation of working agreements enhances our time to delivery by improving overall efficiency. Additionally, the seamless integration with Slack enhances team communication and collaboration.

Pros: The correlation between JIRA & Github has been super helpful for me. I can objectively track the progress on each task & proactively identify the tasks prone to getting delayed.

Cons: My experience while using typo has been smooth so far so nothing to dislike. I would appreciate more customizations on how to track Github activities.

Pros: What really impressed us about Typo is their holistic approach to combining performance and wellbeing metrics. By doing so, they have enabled us to focus on the metrics that truly matter and start driving continuous improvement through goals. It’s amazing how Typo brings together insights and actionable steps in a single platform. Plus, the Slack alerts are bang on!

Cons: Nothing so far. My requests have been accepted as part of their roadmap so all good!

Pros: Our tech tool stack integrated seamlessly, and within 10 minutes, we had our first tech insights. The real-time visibility of all software development lifecycle (SDLC) metrics, including DORA, efficiency, pull request analysis, utilization reports, and more, is truly impressive. What we appreciate most is the ability to view these metrics across different team levels, which helps us prioritize areas that can have an immediate high impact. Plus, the UI is intuitive and easy to use.

Cons: It has been more than 3 months since we started using it, and the only thing we crave for is more customization options. However, we appreciate the support of the typo team in fulfilling most of our requests. :)

Overall: We're loving the overall experience of Typo. Real-time visibility into critical engineering metrics that helps us to keep a track of inefficiencies & drive continuous dev improvement.
