Thinking Cap LMS

Pros: Our unique course distribution model and user profile required an LMS that was both customizable and equipped with robust learner support features. Thinking Cap LMS provides us with both of these requirements, along with a range of other features and functions that we use on a daily basis. When issues do occur, the Thinking Cap support team has been reliably efficient at resolving these issues quickly.

Cons: As a 15-year client of Thinking Cap, most of the issues we had with the LMS were in the early years of this product and were due mainly to growing pains.

Overall: Overall, our experience using the Thinking Cap LMS has been a rewarding one. This product has played an essential role in the growth and success of our e-learning business.

Pros: The greatest advantage to us was that Thinking Cap allowed for many different subsets under the main LMS and each department could fully customize and personalize their own experience and have their own URL.

Cons: Developmental talk may have new customers confused initially but once the process moves along the staff is very helpful in breaking down and explaining all concepts.

Overall: The overall experience at Thinking Cap has been excellent from the sales team to the onboarding. As newcomers to the E-Learning space since the pandemic, Thinking Cap staff were very understanding and walked us through the steps multiple times to ensure we got a hang of it.

Pros: Thinking Cap is a very comprehensive enterprise LMS, which allows you to create different domains with different brandings as well as URL customization. It has a user-friendly interface and has many features that suits our needs.
The support team has an excellent knowledge of the LMS, and tickets are usually dealt with in the same day.

Cons: The are a lot of features however user guides are not always available especially those which cover newly developed features.

Overall: Great and friendly team. Thinking Cap are constantly creating new features and improving existing ones.

Pros: Long-term employees - know the system inside and out
Robust system - Lots of features to be utilized within Thinking Cap,
Initial training on system is quite detailed.
Thinking Camp brings customers together for two days to build the future of Thinking Cap and puts your ideas into their road map.

Cons: Speed can sometimes be a factor - whether uploading a file or making a change, or loading a page.
Support tickets can sometimes be slow-moving through the system for correction.

Overall: Great group of people working at Thinking Cap. Their Thinking Camp allows them to bring together their customers allows for networking as well as bringing new ideas to the table for implementation.

Pros: The LMS is able to meet all my needs and has the ability to support my very complex needs. I set up new items with entirely new Learning Paths almost every week. So far I can't see any rule I want to add they can't support. When I do need help their support team is always right there for me.

Cons: With so many domains I jump around a lot. The software could do better by putting multiple domains into one view for me. I know this is picky.

Overall: Day in and out I get thousands of Learners in and out without trouble and that is what matters to me.
