    "Fantastic Arcade Style Dogfighting!"

Pros: -Unparalleled customization of your ships and equipment with possibly hundreds of thousands of possible combinations.
-Minutes to learn, years to master.
-100% free game. Everything is unlockable in-game with enough diligence and time. (except DLC ships, which are simply copy-pasta of normal ships with cool skins)
-Easily 300 flyable ships with hundreds of modules to chose from.
-Patches roll out pretty frequently, each one holding more optimizations and content for the game.
-Game plays well on most systems, even really old ones.
-Fast-paced combat in both PvP and PvE
-At-your-leisure progression with more laid-back modes like free-roaming Open Space.
    -Boss fights.
    -Interesting and ever-evolving storyline.
-Always something new to unlock or achieve.
-Forums with heaps of useful information and helpful people.
-Many highly competitive modes for fun AND prestige.
    -Weekly tournaments.

Cons: -Painfully slow game progression once you reach higher ranks.
-Endless grind for end-game content built to keep people playing, or keep people paying.
    -Lackluster DLC content.
    -Expensive DLC.
-Game mechanics tend to change from patch-to-patch, making it somewhat difficult to keep up unless you play a lot or stay involved with the online community.
    -Dead forums.
-Prestige competition and tournaments dominated by veteran players who seldom let newer players join their ranks.

Overall: Overall an exceptionally fun game if you're willing to put the time in to learn it. It is always evolving and the developers are always working on new projects for it. Definitely worth a dowoad just for the graphics if not to compete.
