It has an excellent synchronization with the employee payroll accounting system, square serves as a payment processor to make payroll payments, however it does not have its own accounting for the work time of each employee. This software connects to the accounting of employee working hours, in this way, we can generate a report and obtain a specific payment amount for each employee, we can directly export this report and make the payment of the corresponding amount from the Square app. This data synchronization helps us make payment much faster.

3. Square generates a payment voucher for each transaction. When we make a payment for our employees, the platform requests an email to which an invoice will be sent. This invoice is made automatically, and all the taxes that were deducted from the payment registration are stipulated there. In our company we pay all kinds of government taxes, each employee must pay their taxes and this is debited automatically with the help of Square.

4. The payment gateway is automatically saved in the Square cloud, which means that all old payments can be consulted. The payment data is stored in the cloud without any type of limit, it can take up to more than a year and you will be able to have access to payments that you have made since you started using the platform, this is totally magnificent and helps to keep track of payments made in previous months.

Cons: During my experience with Square I must say that we took a large part of the functions in a positive way, in very few occasions we noticed some negative functions within this platform. However, it is important to mention the negative things that suggest experience, these were:

1. Square does not have any kind of system to reward our employees. It only works as a system to make payroll payments in connection with the accounting that is obtained due to the hours worked by each employee. This system is not capable of allowing us to pay any bonus to employees, or any award for a specific activity. I would love for this system to allow me to send additional awards to our employees, as we currently do that with the help of third party software. It is important to highlight that an award system for employees would help complement the payroll payment system.

2. Square's support team is not always available to handle our requests. On several occasions we came to present confusion when using the platform, this happened when we were trying to adapt to them. When we started using this platform, we had various doubts about its general operation and how we should link our bank account to a credit card to make the corresponding payments to the three employees. This process was a bit complicated for us, and at the time of contacting the support team, their response took up to 24 hours to reach us. The support team should improve the response time, so that payments can be successfully sent without any errors.

Overall: Despite the poor attention we received from the support team, we were able to resolve our questions and successfully adapt to the platform. A support team that took a long time to give us a concrete answer will not change our opinion or perspective of this platform, we continue to believe that it is a totally worthwhile software that helps companies simplify the payroll payment gateway. Our general experience has been absolutely good, we hope that this software will implement the employee reward system so that it becomes a much more complete software and helps us cover more functions within our company. I am currently in charge of the company where I work, and Square has played a very important role for us and for me, since it has allowed us to make all types of payments without any type of limit, previously it was a bit complicated to make payments manually, since there is no company there are many employees from various sectors, but with the help of this software we have been able to schedule payments and have them made automatically at the end of the month. I'm glad I'm using this software and the great prices I've been offered.

Pros: Making payroll payments is a difficult task when there are many employees in a work sector. What I like most about Square Payroll is that it already has an integrated tax system, Square has a list of taxes for each country, this helps to deduct the taxes corresponding to each payment invoice, without the need to calculate taxes manually. Also, another thing I like is that Square support was very friendly with us, during our experience there were several questions about how we had to set up automated payments, live support was there to help us. Finally, I love the excellent integration it has with our worker monitoring system, this integration allows you to extract reports of hours worked and helps Square to generate payroll invoices automatically.

Cons: The reports cannot be extracted from the platform, this platform works online, and the payment reports can only be viewed from the web version and from the mobile version. It would be excellent to have all the physical payment reports, that would be an incredible backup for us to have a physical history of what we have paid.

Overall: My overall experience with Square is pretty remarkable and I think it's been pretty good. Previously, payments to our employees were later since we had to manually process the working hours of each employee and we had to manually debit the corresponding taxes, however, after the arrival of Square this changed radically, we have been able to integrate Square with our primary payment system so that payments are made automatically to the registered wallets of our employees. In addition, Square has helped us generate payment invoices in an automated way, thanks to the integration with our workforce measurement system, we can generate invoices with the data collected from our labor management system.
