SCALANCE M includes mobile wireless routers and routers for wired communication. The routers have been proven in a variety of applications that require industrial remote access. Using SCALANCE M mobile wireless routers, both stationary and mobile stations can be connected to a central control and monitoring system via 3G (UMTS), 4G (LTE), or 5G. The wired routers of the SCALANCE M product family support the cost-effective, secure connection of remote machines and plants with SHDSL, ADSL, or PROFIBUS / MPI. The SCALANCE M accessories portfolio includes a wide range of mobile wireless antennas for different applications. SCALANCE M industrial routers can be used universally in telecontrol, teleservice, and any other application for industrial remote communication. SCALANCE M industrial routers enable the connection of remote machines and plants to public or private remote networks. Communication takes place wirelessly using GSM (2G), UMTS (3G), or LTE (4G) or wired via ADSL and SHDSL.
